Our Guidelines

PHOTOSHOOT HIRE

Minimum Hire Bookings: Minimum hire bookings are required to be paid in full (2 hours).

No show: No shows will result in no refund or credit.

Cancellations: Cancellation of bookings made within 48 hours of the booking commencing will result in no refund or credit. Bookings for Saturdays and Sundays require 2 business days notice for any changes.

Cleaning: If professional cleaning is required upon inspection after your hire, a $150 cleaning fee will be issued at the discretion of the owner.

Exit Prior to Booking Completion: Completing your booking prior to the specified booking time will not result in a credit being held for another date.

EVENT HIRE

Booking and Payment: A booking deposit of $250 is required within 2 days of the tentative booking being made to confirm and exclusively secure a date to hire the venue. Remaining amounts are due 21 days prior to the booking date. Bookings made for a hire date 21 days or less require 100% of the hire fees and bond to be paid upfront to reserve.

Bond Payment: All event bookings require a $400 bond payment. Bond is refundable within 5 business days providing the after-event inspection has passed at the discretion of the venue manager and/or owner.

Cancellations:

  • 60+ days prior = 50% of deposit refunded.

  • 30-60 days prior = deposit forfeited.

  • 21 days or less prior = deposit and any other payments made forfeited.

Cleaning: The terms of your hire is to leave the premises clean and all items returned to their original placement. This includes:

  • Sweeping the floors (cleaning equipment kept onsite)

  • Wiping of benches including kitchenette

  • All rubbish removed off-site and disposed of appropriately. Please be sure to not leave any food left in the studio as noted above.

If the cleaning required is deemed excessive at the owners discretion, the full bond amount may be retained and possible further charges will be issued to cover costs.

Rubbish and Food Removal: Please dispose of rubbish correctly and only in the bins provided and belonging to IQ Studio. If there is no room within on-site bins, we kindly ask you remove your rubbish off-site. Leaving food in our premises poses a risk to our venue. Failure to remove food and/or rubbish off-site will incur a $70 fee.

Evening Hire: Bookings for evening hire must vacate by 11:00pm.

Patron Limits: Our space is suitable for 50-60pax only.

Suppliers/Vendors: Any suppliers appointed for your event must set up and collect their items within the time frame of your hire. This will be outlined at the time of your booking.

Alcohol: We are a BYO venue. Please drink responsibly.

Time Compliance: We work on a tight schedule to be able to accommodate other events and maintenance to keep our venue at a high standard for you to enjoy. We please ask that you plan your bump-in and bump-out time in accordance with the times on your booking arrangement. Early access or late exit to the premises may result in extensive charges.

Please no confetti or glitter.

FURTHER VENUE TERMS (applicable to photoshoots and event hire)

Parking: Street parking is available in Cronulla Avenue or Karen Avenue. Please be mindful to avoid driveways as most businesses operate 7 days per week. More parking is available at Pacific Square (where Soak Bathhouse and Lifeline is) - please be mindful there is a 2 hour parking limit. No parking is permitted in the laneway adjacent to the studio.

Damages and Theft: If there are any items missing or damaged a fee will apply depending on the extent of the damage and/or item. This is also inclusive of items that are found to be in a place (moved) which causes a risk of damage and/or theft (i.e left outside of the premises).

Studio Security: Studio must be securely locked in accordance with the instructions issued to the person who made the booking. Failure to do so may incur a call-out fee and compensation.

Furry Friends: Although we are huge animal lovers, to preserve our studio we have to say sorry, no pets allowed.

Non-moveable items: Large standing mirrors, curtains and statues. To ensure the safety of our team, if any non-moveable items are moved a $220 removalist fee will be issued. If any non-moveable items are broken or damaged a minimum charge of $600 will apply.

No Access Areas (Inside Premises): Please be aware there is no access permitted within the section of RŌŌM Studio adjacent to the kitchenette (private business) and the adjoining studio (private business). Items removed, damaged, photographed, or areas accessed where not permitted may incur further action by the relevant business owner/s.

No Access Areas (Outside Premises): No further access past the laneway side roller door is permitted and strictly no loitering in front of other businesses or in the street.

Permitted Areas: Included in your booking is access to the kitchenette and bathroom.

Furniture/Props: Any furniture/props moved throughout the booking must be returned to its original place upon leaving the premises (applicable to items that can be moved only).

Access to Studio: Your access commences from the start of the allocated booking time. Please ensure to consider set-up and pack-down time as this must be included in the time of your hire.

Security (CCTV): Motion sensor and security cameras are installed inside and outside of the premises.

Smoking/Vaping/E-Cigarettes: Smoking is not permitted inside the premises and cigarette butts must be disposed of correctly. Please bring your own ashtrays and only smoke outside. 

Noncompliance of our guidelines at the time of booking will result in immediate termination of hire and/or further charges.
